Exploring Stellar Nurseries with ESA's Gaia Mission

Scientists from the European Space Agency (ESA) have made the most accurate 3D map of star-forming regions in our Milky Way galaxy using data from the ESA Gaia mission. This map stretches 4,000 light-years from us, with the Sun right in the middle!
